a gift to humanity
Before turning 18, Maadiah Johnson took great pride in her roles as a changemaker, author, and YouTuber. At just 16, she published her first book, 'Clawed to Death', and became the youngest member of the Uyo Book Club. Her achievements were celebrated at the 1st and 2nd National Book Club and Reading Promoters Conference, hosted by the Uyo Book Club, where she presented her work. Maadiah advocated for her peers to embrace reading, creativity, and productivity, envisioning a future where young celebrities significantly contribute to Nigeria's GDP. She also presented a paper titled "Raise Them Queens" at a sensitisation workshop organised by FEYREP, a project of Dr. Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel, the former First Lady of Akwa Ibom State. In her presentation, Maadiah emphasised the importance of raising young men and women to be confident and purposeful, capable of becoming the kings and queens of their generation. In addition to her literary and public speaking efforts, Maadiah consistently created visual and written content to inspire and advocate for change among teenagers. Her work aims to add value to the world, driven by the unwavering support of her parents, who made numerous sacrifices to nurture her creative pursuits. Their intentional upbringing has shaped Maadiah into the queen she is today.
